HOW TO APPLY: Complete the Fire Fighter Maintenance position application available in the District Office and on the website and return it by January 17, 2025, by 3:00 pm.
Provide a resume.
Provide a cover letter in which you address in two hundred (200) words or less why you feel you are qualified to fill the firefighter / maintenance position.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: The application, resume, and cover letter will be reviewed by the Hope Valley – Wyoming Fire District, and three (3) to five (5) potential applicants will be chosen to continue in the selection process based on a scoring rubric. The final selection process will include a written examination and an oral interview. After completing the written exam and oral interview process, a hiring recommendation will be made to the Hope Valley – Wyoming Fire District’s Board of Directors. The Board of Directors may require a final interview before the applicant is hired.
