March 19, 2011 marked the 29th annual Awards Banquet for the Hope Valley-Wyoming Fire District. Guest in attendance were HVWFD firefighters and Officers, Life-Time members, Chief of Richmond-Carolina, Scott Barber, Chief 5 of the Union Fire District, Kevin Quinn, Chief of Exeter, Dave Chamberlain, Chief Dave Sayles of Westerly Fire Department, along with State Representatives and members of the State and Local Police Departments.

David Holt, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was the master of ceremonies.

Recipients of the awards were the following:

Michael Deniger – Volunteer of the Year Award
Chief Fred Stanley – Firefighter of the Year Award
Michael Tanzi – Rookie of the Year Award
Richard Hines – Stanley Nappa Award
Joe Arsenault of Richmond EMA - Dedicated Service to the Community Award
HB Alarms - Community Service Award
Joshua Dumas and Joshua Gardiner – Dedicated Service Award
