Just before 5:00 PM Thursday afternoon the Hope Valley Fire Department was dispatched to The Chariho Career and Tech Center for a reported bus fire. Engine 912 arrived on scene as the first due engine reporting a working bus fire with exposure issues. As a precaution companies from Ashaway and Carolina were added to the assignment. A single attack line was stretched knocking the fire down quickly. Companies cleared at 6:05 turning the scene over to the Rhode Island State Fire Marshal.
