At 01:16 AM Friday morning, while companies in Ashaway were investigating a possible propane explosion on Ashaway Rd, Hopkinton Police Dispatch came across the fire frequency reporting a working structure fire across from their station at the Thompson Lumber Yard. Engine 912 was dispatched on the initial assignment, complementing a full response out of Ashaway. Upon the first due company's arrival, a 1st alarm was struck for a garage fire with several large trailers also involved (Tanker 915 was added on the 1st alarm). With 3 lines already deployed off the 1st due company, Engine 912 was requested to position on the Charlie side of the fire to deploy an additional attack line. After the fire was knocked down, crews still faced extensive overhaul keeping them on scene till 04:00 AM.

Units: Engine 912 and Tanker 915
