Just after 5 PM Saturday afternoon firefighters were dispatched to Collins rd in Ashaway for a reported house fire. Car 908 (Captian Deniger) and Engine 915 were first due and reported heavy smoke showing. Crews made an aggressive interior attack holding the fire to the basement. Engine 913 established a water supply while the tanker shuttled water.
